Your role in BizAway Test Planning: collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies and plans. Test Case Creation: design, develop, and document detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications. These test cases outline the steps to be taken, the expected results, and the criteria for pass or fail. Test Execution: execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools to identifydefects, bugs, or errors in the software. Defect Reporting and Tracking: When issues are discovered, document them providing detailed information such as steps to reproduce, environment details, and severity level Regression Testing: perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes to the software do not adversely affect existing functionalities. Collaboration: collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to communicate testing progress, findings, and potential risks. Continuous Improvement: actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and efficiency. Documentation: contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and other relevant documentation as required by the project. Your basic qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes Familiarity with various testing tools and techniques Attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills We are also interested in Expertise in software testing Proficiency in computer programming languages ( JavaScript) Experience with software debugging tools.
